Hello, I’m Annie. I’m an artist living and working in South East London.
I spend most of my days working with soft pastel to create large, sweeping landscapes and portraiture bursting with colour. Other days I’ll be working with illustration or taking photos - either way I’m always busy playing with creativity.
Pastel is a beautiful medium. It’s messy, loose, earthy and authentic. For me, it embodies freedom and experimentation and it takes me on a journey with every piece of work I create.
I enjoy experimenting across multiple mediums and avenues of art. Weaving my practice together is my love for richness, vitality and colour. Every new person I work with is unique, original and bursting with life, and it’s an honour to try and carve their soul out of a stick of pastel and a canvas.
